Off the Green

What shots can you use around the green to GUARANTEE no worse than bogey?

At Next Level Golf Academy, we have discovered that much of the success around the green boils down to one principle: less is more. Proper shot selection is often the key to success. We teach three specific power levels for various situations encountered around a green complex. Everyone has experienced the frustration of watching a chip shot take off like you accidentally hit a driver. Statistically, choosing the lowest power option results in much more predictable outcomes. This predictability fosters confidence and helps eliminate fear around the green.

We encourage students to keep score during practice and to set ambitious goals that go beyond their previous bests. Each drill listed below includes four levels of difficulty, making it accessible for players of all skill levels to aim for improvement like never before!

Level 1 - Difficulty

Take ten shots from a stationary location, aiming to stop the ball in your best Two-Putt Circle.

Level 2 - Difficulty

Take ten shots from different positions to your best Two-Putt Circle and record the successful attempts.

Take ten shots from a stationary location, aiming to stop the ball in your best One-Putt Circle.

Level 3 - Difficulty

Level 4 - Difficulty

Take ten shots from different positions to your best One-Putt Circle and record the successful attempts.

Your On-Course Play will determine which distance to focus on.

To determine which distance is your improvement opportunity, we keep score. The total score of all levels is multiplied by the distance. The lowest value will determine your distance needing focus.
